The spring bird migration begins in March as waterfowl move north through the state, with 36 species of ducks, geese, and swans recorded on the Connecticut River from Hinsdale to Charlestown. Join Eric Masterson and Phil Brown to caravan to the best birding spots, with a little easy walking as needed, in hopes of seeing the spectacle. Wear mud boots, bring binoculars and lunch, and meet at 8 a.m. in Keene. Exact meeting location will be provided upon registration. We’ll return by 1 p.m.

Registration is required. To register, please fill out this online formFor general information about Harris Center field trips, including questions about accessibility, see our Outings Information page. For more information about this particular event, please contact Phil or Eric.
