Join avid birders Steven Lamonde and Kim Snyder for a guided field trip along the New Hampshire Seacoast – the state’s most bird-diverse region during the winter months. From Common Eiders to Snow Buntings and everything in between, we’ll explore avian adaptations for winter survival in ocean, marsh, sand dune, and forest.

We’ll meet at Hampton Beach State Park at 9 a.m., carpool to multiple locations, and end the day back at the state park at 3 p.m. Exact meeting location will be provided upon registration. Dress warmly, and bring lunch and plenty of water. Snow date: February 5.

Space is limited to 10 participants and three cars, and registration is required. For general information about Harris Center field trips, see our Outings Information page. For more information on this particular outing, including questions about accessibility, contact Steven.
