Nature Mandala Workshop
Join local environmental artist Sarah Wilson for this morning workshop to learn some tips and techniques for creating outdoor mandalas using only natural materials. Once we’ve gone over the basics, we’ll work as a group to make one large mandala, leaving our creation for others to enjoy as wind, sun, rain, and local critters slowly reclaim it.

Closing Reception: Journey to the Rhizosphere
Featuring handmade paper objects, interpretive illustrations, interactive puzzles, and a rhizosphere-inspired soundscape, this exhibit by Susan Edwards and friends celebrates the fascinating relationships between plant roots, soil organisms, and healthy ecosystems. This art show will be on exhibit from April 1 to June 3, with a reception on April 26.
Painting for Loons
Enjoy a creative night out with the Harris Center at Branch & Blade Beer Co., featuring a loon presentation and guided painting session with artist Tristan G. Bridges. This evening of craft brews, art, and wildlife education benefits the Harris Center.
Pre-show Talk: Native Gardens
Join the Harris Center for a lively pre-show talk before Native Gardens at the Peterborough Players on August 1. Hear from naturalist Susie Spikol plus Emily Drury and Carly Roland from Princess Pine — a local landscape design company— about the value of native gardens and tips for growing your own. This new exhibit, Connected to Nature, by the Lone Mountain Artists showcases seven unique artistic perspectives, each inspired by their personal connections to nature and to the Harris Center itself.
