SUMMARY:ESI Course: Introduction to Herbal Energetics
DESCRIPTION:Join Vermont herbalist Erica Marie Coston for an immersive exploration of herbal energetics — an invitation to tune into the living language of plants and your own inner landscape. Together\, we’ll explore how warming\, cooling\, drying\, moistening\, lax\, and tense qualities move through the body\, shaping digestion\, mood\, energy\, and emotional patterns. Through taste\, observation\, and reflection\, you’ll learn to recognize your own energetic tendencies and what helps bring you back into balance. This class weaves together plants\, emotions\, and physical experience\, inviting you to partner with herbs more intuitively and to experience yourself as an ecosystem. You’ll leave with a dried herbal sachet to continue the herbal experience beyond class. All adults are welcome! \nThis Environmental Studies Institute (ESI) course will meet on Saturday\, May 30\, from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Harris Center. \nCost: $20 for Harris Center supporters / $25 for all others. Space is limited\, and registration is required. For questions about registration\, contact Miles Stahmann.
