Early Morning Forest Bathing
Thursday, July 17,
8:00 am to 9:30 am

Start your day with birdsong, morning light, and the quiet power of nature connection on a morning meander through meadows and woodlands with naturalist Susie Spikol and yoga instructor Marilyn Wyzga. Also known as Shinrin-yoku, the Japanese practice of Forest Bathing is an invitation to slow down and immerse yourself in the natural world through sensory awareness, standing yoga poses, breathwork, and other mindfulness techniques. No experience necessary.
8 to 9:30 a.m. in Hancock. Directions to the exact meeting location will be provided prior to the event. Space is limited, and registration is required. For more information about this particular outing, including questions about accessibility, contact Susie. Also, check out our other Forest Bathing sessions with Susie and Marilyn here.
Co-sponsored by the Harris Center for Conservation Education and the Peterborough Recreation Department.
