Immerse yourself in the art of observation through drawing this winter. Each week, we’ll focus on a different natural object, from stones to fallen leaves to photos of wildlife – looking closely at shape, texture, weight, and shadow as we sketch. This class is designed to enhance your appreciation of nature through an artist’s lens. All levels of drawing experience are welcome!

This class will meet on Wednesdays, February 1, 8, 15, and 22, from 7 to 8 p.m. via Zoom.

Cost: $40 for Harris Center supporters / $60 for all others

Instructor: Annie Trowbridge is an avid painter and printmaker from Peterborough who teaches private and group art lessons throughout New England. She is inspired by the natural beauty of the Monadnock Region, and loves to paint the mountains and lakes she grew up with. She is happiest when working on a new print, or trail-running with her dog, Luigi.

Space is limited, and registration is required. For questions about registration, please contact Miles Stahmann. For other questions, contact Susie Spikol.
