From sheer curiosity to exercises in mindfulness, there are many reasons to establish a nature journaling practice. Join science teacher and nature enthusiast Emily Bingham for a three-part online class that will foster more intentional nature exploration and help you to develop stronger habits of observation and reflection. We’ll focus on looking for patterns and practicing notation methods that will aid in identification and appreciation of local plant and animal species. You do not have to be an accomplished artist to keep an illustrated and informative nature journal!

Tuesdays, August 11, 18 & 25, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. via Zoom. This course is now full.

Instructor: Emily Bingham is a science teacher and intersectional environmentalist currently residing in the South Coast region of Massachusetts. Originally from Peterborough, she grew up with an appreciation of the rural southern New Hampshire landscape and studied Environmental Science at Keene State College.
