The late, great Mary Oliver — arguably the most famous and beloved modern American poet — focused above all on the depth and mystery of the natural world. In this three-part seminar, we’ll explore a selection of her nature poems, drawing connections between them and our own experiences out in the wilderness — and in our own backyards. Great poets not only open our eyes; they give us new eyes to see with!

This group will meet Fridays, January 22, 29, and February 5, from 1 to 2 p.m. via Zoom.

This program is now full. To be added to the waiting list, please fill out this online form.

Instructor: Matthew Myer Boulton is a former faculty member of Harvard Divinity School, and a writer and filmmaker living in Keene.

Co-sponsored by the Harris Center for Conservation Education and the Hancock Town Library.
