Join Harris Center naturalists Karen Rent and Jenna Spear for an adventure-filled hike to one of our favorite places: the Big Boulders. Along the way, we’ll play games, search for animals, and maybe even become animals ourselves. Bring a flashlight, so you can peek into the deep dark crevices of these ancient boulders. Who knows what you will find? This hike is on rolling and rocky terrain, with some wet areas but little elevation gain. Perfect for families with elementary-aged children and older.

About the Hike-a-Thon: From October 7 to 21, we invite you to enjoy the Harris Center’s beautiful trails while helping raise money for trailside benches during our first-ever Hike-a-Thon! The benches will be great places to rest and take in the scenery, and are essential for helping people of all ages and abilities enjoy the great outdoors.
