Calling all animal allies, nature noticers, and outdoor explorers! Join Harris Center naturalists Karen Rent and Susie Spikol to let your wild side out this winter. Uncover your wonder, and let the natural world be your teacher. Tracks, scat, snow crystals, winter birds, cold weather survival – come discover it all. You’ll also have an opportunity to be part of the Harris Center’s new nature podcast for families, Wild at Home.

This group meets Tuesdays, January 24 & 31 and February 7 & 14, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Harris Center and local field sites. Snow date: February 14.

On February 7, we’ll make a special, longer-day field trip to the Shattuck Golf Course in Jaffrey to snowshoe and search for animal tracks. On that day, drop-off will be at 9 a.m. and pick-up will be at 1 p.m., both at the Shattuck Golf Course. All other days, we’ll meet at the Harris Center and wrap up by noon.

Cost: $100 per child for Harris Center supporters / $120 per child for all others
