Are you a tween or a teen with an interest in birds and birding? Join a growing movement of young adults who are learning to recognize birds and their calls while building community with other young birders as part of The Kestrels Young Birders Club! Kestrels programs are led by Harris Center bird conservation director Phil Brown and naturalist Susie Spikol, along with other guest experts. For students in grades 5 through 12.

This fall, the Young Birders Club offers a chance to see a songbird banding demonstration featuring some of our club members who have been volunteering at a local banding station. Don’t miss this opportunity to grow your skills and connect with other wildlife fans!

8 to 10 a.m. in Antrim. Exact meeting location will be provided prior to the event. Space is limited, and registration is required.

For general information about Harris Center programs, see our Outings Information page. For more information about this particular outing, including questions about accessibility, contact Susie.
