Join outing leaders Richard Doherty (he/him) and Liz Barrett for an LGBTQIA+ community hike at Gunnison Lake (locally nicknamed the “Goshen Ocean”). Tucked along the backside of Mount Sunapee, this 3-mile loop trail follows the lake shoreline with gentle ups and downs and a few stream crossings. Northern hardwoods, hemlock, and white pine dominate the forest, with occasional blueberry bushes and a lush fern understory. We’ll keep an eye out for loons, beavers, mustelids, and a variety of raptors along the way.
