A drawing of flowers and a garden for the play Native Gardens (Art by Kate Cote)

Join the Harris Center for a special talk before the Peterborough Players comedy, Native Gardens written by Karen Zacarías. This play is described as a “high-spirited horti-culture clash” between neighbors with different opinions on gardening and more.

Purchase a ticket to Native Gardens on August 1, and arrive at the Peterborough Players early for a short pre-show talk at 6 p.m. Harris Center naturalist Susie Spikol will share why native gardens are important to wildlife, and Emily Drury and Carly Roland of Princess Pine, a local landscape design company, will provide tips on native gardening in the Monadnock Region.

For more information about the Peterborough Players, the show Native Gardens, or how to purchase tickets, contact the Players at (603) 924-7585 or visit their website. For more information about the pre-show talk, including questions about accessibility, contact Susie.

Co-sponsored by the Harris Center for Conservation Education and the Peterborough Players.
