Join Harris Center ecologists Brett Amy Thelen and Nate Marchessault for an afternoon of salamander monitoring at the Harris Center’s long-term SPARCnet study plots, part of a national research effort aimed at understanding the effects of climate change on woodland salamanders. We’ll start with a brief introduction to red-backed salamander ecology and to our study methods, then head into the woods to search for salamanders. No experience necessary!
