Volunteer Workday on Skatutakee Mountain

Friday, August 16, 2019,
9:00 am
to 5:00 pm

  • This event has passed.

Over the years, shrubs and small trees have grown in on the summit of Skatutakee Mountain, obscuring the view — and making fall hawk watching challenging — from this iconic SuperSanctuary peak. Join Eric Masterson for a volunteer workday to restore the view. We’ll depart from the Harris Center at 9 a.m. for the 3.0-mile roundtrip hike up Skatutakee. Back by 5 p.m. Bring water, lunch, sun and bug protection, work gloves, and loppers or a bow saw. (No chainsaws, please). Rain date: August 17.

Please RSVP to Eric at (603) 525-3394 or by email. When you do, please let him know if you plan to help for part or all of the day, so he can plan accordingly. THANK YOU!
