Marine scientist Kelly Luis

Join marine scientist Kelly Luis for an introduction to the history, culture, and science of Boston Harbor. Kelly is a PhD candidate in Marine Science & Technology at UMASS-Boston, where her research focuses on using remote sensing technology to improve coastal water quality monitoring. As a Native Hawaiian researcher, she is committed to increasing access to environmental data for marginalized communities and to supporting Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) working in oceanography.
