Calling all young birders! Join Hawk Watch Coordinator Phil Brown and others to search for migrating birds of prey, including the elusive and exciting Northern Goshawks and Golden Eagles that Pack Monadnock is famous for in late October. All youth and their family members are welcome for this morning on the mountain. Bring binoculars (or borrow ours), a snack and drink, and dress for the weather.

9 to 11 a.m. at the top of Pack Monadnock in Miller State Park, Peterborough. The outing is free, but there’s a fee to enter Miller State Park ($4 per adult and $2 for children age 6 to 11. Children age 5 and under, and NH residents 65 and older, are free). For more information and to register, please RSVP to Phil Brown at (603) 525-3499 or by email.
