SUMMARY:Easygoing Hike at Camp Chenoa
DESCRIPTION:Join Phil Brown and Ben Haubrich for an easygoing summer stroll through the Harris Center’s Camp Chenoa land – home to both young and older forest\, a mix of wetlands\, and other interesting landscape features that provide habitat connectivity between the Willard Pond and Gregg Lake watersheds. We’ll walk a scenic woods road out to a huge balancing rock and learn about the land conservation history of this special place. This 2-mile roundtrip hike will take place mostly on mostly level terrain. Dress for the weather and conditions\, including biting insects. \n10 a.m. to noon at the Camp Chenoa land in Antrim. Exact meeting location will be provided upon registration.
