DESCRIPTION:Join Phil Brown and special guests for a series of autumn wanderings in tucked-away places close to home. Based on Phil and Ignacio Oreamuno’s new book\, MicroExploring the SuperSanctuary\, each exploration will feature a unique conservation property and natural history theme shaped by the conditions that present themselves that day. \nThrough MicroExploring — the practice of focusing attention and intention on a smaller geographic area — you’ll also learn practices to help you connect more deeply with the natural world. \nWhether scanning the skies for migrating raptors\, admiring the stunning autumn foliage from hilltop vistas\, or simply walking new or familiar paths\, you’ll come away with a renewed appreciation for the land and learn how to take MicroExploring with you wherever you go. \nPhil Brown and Ignacio Oreamuno leading a MicroExploring hike on Crotched Mountain’s accessible trails.
