SUMMARY:Easygoing Hike to MacDowell Lake
DESCRIPTION:Contact Miles at (603) 525-3394 or by email to join the waitlist. \nJoin Jeremy Wilson and Susie Spikol for an easygoing\, 1-mile roundtrip hike along a sandy\, rolling path from Spring Road to MacDowell Lake. Along the way\, we’ll stop at the old sandpit — now a turtle habitat restoration site — to learn what the Army Corps has done to improve nesting habitat for New Hampshire’s turtles. If we’re lucky\, we’ll also spot some basking turtles at the lake! \n10 to 11:30 a.m. at MacDowell Lake in Peterborough. Directions to the exact location will be provided prior to the event.
