SUMMARY:Bobcats Before Breakfast: John Kulish\, His Book\, and His Legacy
DESCRIPTION:John Kulish\, trapper-turned-conservationist and the Harris Center’s first naturalist\, published his classic book Bobcats Before Breakfast in 1969. In celebration of the Harris Center’s 50th Anniversary\, Stackpole Books recently republished it after nearly five decades of being out of print. Come find out about John’s remarkable life and legacy and hear excerpts from this evocative book\, which captures a moment in time in the Monadnock Region. 11 a.m. to noon at the Toadstool Bookshop in Peterborough. \nFollowing the program\, naturalists Meade Cadot and Susie Spikol will lead an outing at Shieling Forest to do one of the things John Kulish loved the most – go tracking!
