Katri Jackson

Dublin

Katri (she/her) grew up in western Massachusetts in a family that valued outdoor experiences and conservation. As a child, she spent a lot of time hiking, canoeing, and camping with her family. She first moved to the Monadnock Region in 2002, when she worked for Boston University’s Sargent Center for Outdoor Education in Hancock. She has happily spent much of her adult life in the Monadnock Region ever since.

After two years with the Sargent Center, Katri taught Biology and Environmental Science at Vermont Academy before moving to Bloomington, IN, for graduate school. She now works at Dublin School teaching Biology, Chemistry, AP Biology, and AP Environmental Science and serving as the Chair of the Science and Technology Departments. Katri holds a BA in Zoology from Connecticut College and an MSES/MPA from Indiana University’s O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs.

Her daughter has benefited from the Harris Center school programs and summer camp. Their family’s favorite activities include hiking, camping, and traveling.
