Our Green Building

The Harris Center is headquartered in an historic estate in Hancock, New Hampshire — right in the heart of our 34,500-acre SuperSanctuary of conserved lands. When we renovated our building in 2003, we made a commitment to preserving as much of the original structure as possible and to incorporating sustainable materials and practices into the new design.

Pollinator Garden

What was once an old stone swimming pool is now a colorful garden, buzzing with life. Native and nectar-rich flowers bloom from spring through fall, nourishing bees, beetles, butterflies, birds — and people, too.
