Events Navigation
The bowl formed by the southern and western slopes of Mounts Thumb and Skatutakee in the SuperSanctuary was once completely cleared for farming. Today it’s a beautiful, boulder-filled hardwood forest. Join Dave Butler for a moderately strenuous, 4-mile snowshoe hike through the area, first on the Cadot Trail, then off-trail through the bowl. Bring lunch and meet at the Harris Center at 10:30 a.m. to carpool. Back by 3 p.m. For more information, email Dave Butler.
