Make a difference for our local rivers during the Connecticut River Conservancy’s annual Source to Sea Cleanup! In the Monadnock Region, we’ll focus on Beaver Brook at Water Street in Keene (on foot or by canoe), the Ashuelot River at Martell Court in Keene (canoe only), and the Ashuelot River at the Cresson Covered Bridge on Sawyer’s Crossing Road in Swanzey (canoe only). Some of the cleanup can be done on foot, but volunteers are encouraged to bring canoes and PFDs, if possible, especially to the Ashuelot River sites. Trash bags and gloves will be provided. Masks are required at check-in and when physical distancing is not an option.

9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Keene and Swanzey. You are welcome to stay for as little or as long as you wish. For more information or to register, please contact the Cheshire County Conservation District at (603) 756-2988, ext. 4 or by email.

Co-sponsored by the Cheshire County Conservation District, the Ashuelot River Local Advisory Committee, the City of Keene, Keene State College, Moosewood Ecological, NH Water Works Association Young Professionals, and the Harris Center for Conservation Education.
