This playful documentary follows wildlife filmmaker Charlie Hamilton James as he chronicles the rehabilitation of three orphaned river otters and travels across the globe in search of other otter species — revealing the secrets of their survival through never-before-seen footage. Following the film, Harris Center naturalist and otter aficionado Susie Spikol will be on hand for questions, along with an assortment of otter-related artifacts from the Harris Center’s natural history collection.
7 to 8:30 p.m. in the Putnam Theater at Keene State College. Free of charge, though donations are gratefully accepted to help cover the film license fees. Suggested donation: $5. For more information, please contact Brett Amy Thelen at (603) 358-2065 or by email.
Cosponsored by the Harris Center for Conservation Education, the Monadnock Conservancy, and the KSC Film Society.
