Tara (she/her) has an undergraduate degree in Environmental Economics and Resource Management from the University of Rhode Island, and a master’s degree in Regional Planning from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst.
She has put her education to good use as a land use and community planner in the Monadnock Region for nearly 15 years, working on projects related to transportation, natural resources, energy, broadband, housing, and economic development planning. Her roles have included Regional Planner for the Southwest Region Planning Commission, Senior Planner for the City of Keene, and most recently, Planner Paralegal for BCM Environmental and Land Use Law.
Tara lives in Hancock with her husband Chris, their son Wyeth, and the family dog, Sydney. She currently serves on the Hancock Planning Board and Hancock Conservation Commission, and enjoys an array of outdoor activities, including gardening, backcountry skiing, biking, trail running, and hiking — especially exploring new trails.
