AJ (she/they) is a junior at Keene State College, working toward a BS in Environmental Studies with a minor in Biology. AJ grew up locally in Hinsdale, New Hampshire, and now resides in Spofford. Kayaking on Spofford Lake has helped AJ feel more connected to the environment and sparked their interest in protecting these areas. After graduating from KSC, AJ would either like to pursue a career in ecology or environmental education, or continue their education in a master’s program.

In their free time, AJ enjoys spending time with friends and family, going kayaking, and learning about anything and everything.

They are one of four KSC students who were hired in 2023 to conduct ecological research, assist with stewardship and environmental education activities, and gain specialized training and firsthand experience with many facets of the Harris Center’s work as part of our summer conservation internship partnership with KSC.
