Emma is a senior at Keene State College, where she is pursuing a B.S. in Public Health with a minor in Environmental Studies. Emma grew up in Marlborough, CT and always had an interest in the outdoors, but her passion for environmental work deepened during her time at Keene State. She is fascinated by the interconnectedness of food systems, health, and environment, and hopes to pursue a career in environmental health.
She is one of four KSC students who were hired in 2018 to conduct ecological research, assist with stewardship and environmental education activities, and gain specialized training and firsthand experience with many facets of the Harris Center’s diverse conservation and education work as part of our summer conservation internship program with the KSC Environmental Studies Department.
