Erica was born and raised in central New Jersey, where she spent her summers exploring Long Beach Island, her winters snowboarding in the Poconos, and the days in between with her parents’ chickens and bees.
In 2017, Erica worked with the Student Conservation Association in New Hampshire, teaching 4th grade environmental education as an AmeriCorps member and partnering with NH State Parks and the US Forest Service on conservation projects throughout the state. This experience inspired her to attend Antioch University New England, where she is currently pursuing a MS in Environmental Studies, with a concentration in Environmental Education.
In the winter and spring of 2019, she will be working on a variety of school-based and community programs as part of her environmental education internship with the Harris Center.
