Gianni DeMasco

KSC Conservation Intern

Gianni DeMasco holds a painted turtle that he saved from certain death on a New Hampshire road.Gianni is a senior at Keene State College, where he is pursuing a BS in Environmental Studies with a minor in Mathematics. Gianni grew up in the countryside in Richmond, New Hampshire, so being outside has always been a big part of his life.

After graduating, Gianni plans to travel and attain a master’s degree in Environmental Science. He’s currently considering a number of career paths, including environmental education as well as research and fieldwork across the US or even the world, all while continuing his passion for photography.

He is one of four KSC students who were hired in 2019 to conduct ecological research, assist with stewardship and environmental education activities, and gain specialized training and firsthand experience with many facets of the Harris Center’s diverse conservation and education work as part of our summer conservation internship partnership with KSC.
