Jennie grew up in south-central New York State, and since childhood has enjoyed hiking, gardening, and observing wildlife. She graduated from Elmira College in 2016 with a B.S. in biology and environmental studies, and is now working towards her M.S. in Environmental Education at Antioch University New England. She has enjoyed working at a zoo, a nature center, and the US Forest Service as summer jobs, and is now looking forward to spending as much time as she can in the forests of New Hampshire.
During her 2017 internship with the Harris Center, she coordinated our Woodlanders summer camp.
