KSC Conservation Intern

Katelyn Fournier watches the sun set through the woods.Katelyn is a senior at Keene State College, where she is majoring in Biology with dual minors in Environmental Studies and Sustainability. Growing up in Massachusetts, she’s always had a strong connection to nature, which has deepened during her time at KSC.

Kately is especially fascinated by wildlife. In the future, she hopes to work in the field of wildlife conservation, with a specialization in herpetology.

She is one of four KSC students who were hired in 2019 to conduct ecological research, assist with stewardship and environmental education activities, and gain specialized training and firsthand experience with many facets of the Harris Center’s diverse conservation and education work as part of our summer conservation internship partnership with KSC.
