Kristina Tufo

KSC Conservation Intern

Kristina Tufo holds an adorable red eft.Kristina grew up in Peabody, Massachusetts, where she developed a passion for protecting our forests. She currently attends Keene State College, where she is a rising junior with a double major in Environmental Studies and Geography and a minor in Sustainability.

Kristina has a strong interest in botany and plant identification, and hopes to gain more experiences like her Harris Center internship as she considers a career in environmental work.

She is one of four KSC students who were hired in 2019 to conduct ecological research, assist with stewardship and environmental education activities, and gain specialized training and firsthand experience with many facets of the Harris Center’s diverse conservation and education work as part of our summer conservation internship partnership with KSC.
