Taylor Jackson

KSC Conservation Intern & Salamander Brigade Intern

Taylor Jackson smiles while holding a hatchling snapping turtle.Taylor (she/her) is a senior at Keene State College, working toward a BS in Environmental Studies and Sustainability. Her passion for the environment began in her hometown of Swanzey, New Hampshire, where she still lives.

In her free time, Taylor enjoys disc golfing, swimming, and adventuring in the woods.

After graduating from KSC, she hopes to pursue a career in paleoclimatology or ecology.

She is one of five KSC students who were hired in 2022 to conduct ecological research, assist with stewardship and environmental education activities, and gain specialized training and firsthand experience with many facets of the Harris Center’s work as part of our summer conservation internship partnership with KSC. In the springs of 2023 and 2024, she returned to assist with our Salamander Crossing Brigade community science program.
