Veronica (she/her) graduated from Keene State College in 2024 with a BS in Environmental Studies.

She grew up in Newtown, Connecticut, where spending weekends on Lake Zoar helped grow her passion for the outdoors. In her free time, Veronica enjoys making jewelry and hiking.

After a seasonal position this summer, she hopes to travel and to pursue a career in wildlife conservation or ecological fieldwork.

Veronica is one of five KSC students who were hired in 2022 to conduct ecological research, assist with stewardship and environmental education activities, and gain specialized training and firsthand experience with many facets of the Harris Center’s work as part of our summer conservation internship partnership with KSC. n the spring of 2024, she returned to assist with our Salamander Crossing Brigade community science program.
