Rosemary is a contemporary wildlife artist whose work celebrates the wild beings that share this planet with us. She first connected with the Harris Center as an Antioch student, later returning as a Wol’s Nest summer camp counselor, workshop leader, and two-term Board member. Before turning to art full-time, Rosemary worked as communications director for the Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests, where she also co-hosted the New Hampshire Public Radio program Something Wild for 11 years.

Inspired by the mystery and beauty of wildlife, Rosemary describes nature as her muse: “Notice the things you notice — that’s what you should paint,” she says. After 9/11, she left her “someday” dreams behind and embraced life as a professional artist. Today, she not only paints animals with passion but also gives back, donating a portion of her profits to wildlife conservation groups. See more of her work at rosemaryconroyart.com.
