Accessible Birding at the Harris Center

Sunday, October 24,
9:00 am
to 10:30 am

A groupd of kids peer through binoculars on the Harris Center front deck.

Join Harris Center Naturalist Emeritus Meade Cadot and longtime outing leader Ben Haubrich for a relaxed morning of birding on the Harris Center front deck, with great views of our bustling bird feeders. Beginning birders welcome! Bring binoculars, or contact us in advance to borrow a pair of ours. The deck is wheelchair-accessible, and there’s a unisex wheelchair-accessible bathroom just inside the Harris Center building.

Drop by anytime between 9 and 10:30 a.m., and stay as long as you like — though space is limited, and registration is required.  To register, please fill out this online form.

This outing is being offered in conjunction with Birdability Week, a nationwide celebration of inclusivity and accessibility in the birding community.
