Animal Songs & Stories Family Concert
Saturday, March 8,
11:00 am to 12:00 pm
- This event has passed.

Take a musical journey into the animal world through song and dance! At this special family concert, preschoolers and their families will explore local wildlife through music, movement, and hands-on learning. Harris Center teacher-naturalist and musician Jazimina Creamer-MacNeil will lead a fun-filled hour where children and parents engage with mounts, pelts, antlers, and feathers while singing songs about these fascinating creatures.
Then, get on your feet for an animal dance party inspired by the beautiful music of Saint-Saëns’ Carnival of the Animals and Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf, performed live by piano, violin, cello, and clarinet. The journey will conclude with a collaborative song creation, bringing everyone’s animal inspirations to life!
11 a.m. at Bass Hall at the Monadnock Center for History and Culture in Peterborough. Free of charge. All ages are welcome. Registration is not required.
