Circus in the Woods
Sunday, May 9
NOTE: This event is SOLD OUT.
Picture it: You arrive at the Harris Center on a beautiful Mother’s Day. Wearing your mask, you walk from your car to the check-in table to confirm your registration. Then, together with socially-distanced family groups, you proceed out onto the grounds for the Flying Gravity Circus! As you follow the circus arrows down the path, you come across a circus space where music and young circus performers delight you with their grace and skill! Then you walk to the next station to enjoy another circus act.
You encounter jugglers among the trees. Wire walkers in the ferns. Acrobats and contortionists in the meadows. Rolling globes, hula hoops, whimsical characters, and aerialists flying as gracefully as the birds. When you emerge at the end, you have experienced an uplifting circus adventure in a beautiful spring woodland setting!
Showtimes: Showtimes are at 2 p.m., 3 p.m., 4 p.m., and 5 p.m. Each performance lasts approximately 45 minutes, including walking time between acts. Reservations are required, and are specific to your chosen showtime. THIS EVENT IS NOW SOLD OUT.
Cost: $5/person. Children 2 and under are free.
Other Details: Dress for the weather. (Spring insects are likely to enjoy the show too.) Masks are required. Portable, wheelchair-accessible toilets are available, and indoor facilities can be opened on request.
