Spring is breeding season for hawks, eagles, and falcons in the Monadnock Region. Step into their world during this five-part field course with Harris Center Bird Conservation Director Phil Brown. We’ll meet at a new site each week to search for local raptor species and discover their secrets. We’ll meet at a new site each week to search for local raptor species and discover their secrets. Topics will include nest building, phenology, vocalizations and other behavior, diet, and habitat requirements. Be prepared for off-trail walking in a range of conditions, including weather and biting insects. Most field sites will be within a 10-minute drive of Hancock.

This group meets Thursdays, April 6 & 20, May 4 & 18, and June 15, from 9:30 a.m. to noon at the Harris Center and field sites throughout the SuperSanctuary.

Cost: $125 for Harris Center supporters / $145 for all others.
