Join Dave Butler and Ben Haubrich for a moderately easy exploration of Frog Rock Road, an abandoned town road in New Boston. Expect a 3.5-mile roundtrip hike with total elevation gain of 160 feet. In addition to Frog Rock (a tourist attraction during the grand hotel era), this walk will include a glacial esker, a kettle pond, and an enormous barn cellar hole. Bring lunch and meet at 10 a.m. at the town sheds in the center of Francestown to carpool to the trailhead. Back by 2:30 p.m. For more information, contact Dave by email.
