George Wheelock donated 12 acres to the City of Keene in 1889 and an additional 83 acres in 1896. At the time, these parcels were collectively called “The Children’s Wood.” Today, we know them as Robin Hood Park. Join Denny Wheeler and Brian Bishoff for a moderately easy, 4-mile hike through this wooded park, which will include visits to the famed Table Rock, Sunset Rock, and Blarney Stone.
