Join the Harris Center’s LAB GIRLS club as we check out the world of bugs! Find out the difference between bugs and insects, meet a real entomologist, and go on a virtual visit to the remarkable Caterpillar Lab. Discover why bugs matter, what the story is behind the “insect apocalypse,” and how you can help. Think fireflies, luna moths, and ladybugs — but also be bold and learn about bald-faced hornets, killer bees, and fire ants. This three-part series is for girls in 5th through 8th grade.

Tuesdays, July 13, 20, and 27, from 5 to 6 p.m. via Zoom. Free of charge. For more information or to register, contact Susie Spikol by email.

Co-sponsored by the Harris Center for Conservation Education and UNH Extension.
