If you like having hands-on experiences in nature, making discoveries, and studying wild animals, then this club is for you! From mammal tracking to owl prowls, explore the wild side of STEM with the Harris Center. Different women in STEM professions will be highlighted each session, with special guests including an Antarctic scientist and a raptor biologist. All events in this series are free of charge. For middle schoolers and up.

Join owl researcher and raptor biologist Julie Brown for this special chance to search for wild owls around the Harris Center grounds. Discover how the use of call and response is used in owl surveys, and try your hand at making your own owl caller out of a tin can.

6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Harris Center. Space is limited, and separate registration is required for each LAB GIRLS+ session. For more information about this particular event, including questions about accessibility, or to be notified about future LAB GIRLS+ events, contact Susie.
