LGBTQ+ Community Hike Along the Monadnock-Sunapee Greenway Trail
Sunday, October 2,
1:00 pm to 5:00 pm
Join Dee Denehy (she, her), Richard Doherty (he, him), and Hunter Kirschner (he, him) for an LGBTQ+ hike along the Monadnock-Sunapee Greenway Trail from Route 9 in Stoddard to Nelson Village and back. Along the way, we’ll stop to explore a cellar hole and admire a scenic beaver pond. Plan for a 5-mile roundtrip hike on uneven trail surfaces, with some roots and rocks. Bring water and lunch, wear sturdy hiking boots or shoes, and come prepared for ticks.
Meet at 1 p.m. at the Monadnock-Sunapee Greenway Trail parking area off Route 9 in Stoddard. Back by 5 p.m. Space is limited, and registration is required.
For general information about Harris Center field trips, including questions about accessibility, see our Outings Information page. For more information on this particular outing, please contact Richard.
