Mini Makers: Making with Nature
Tuesday, September 22, 2026,
4:00 pm to 5:30 pm

Join MAXT Makerspace and the Harris Center for this collaborative season of Mini Makers, where you’ll create your own nature journaling kit, including handmade bound journals, natural inks, and a carrying case for all your materials. Then, you’ll learn how to become a wild observer and recorder as you use your kit to capture the changing seasons. This class will take place inside the MAXT Makerspace and make use of the natural landscapes around the Makerspace building. For kids in grades 1 through 4.
Tuesdays, September 15, 22 & 29, and October 6, 20, & 27 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at MAXT Makerspace in Peterborough. Note: this is a 6-week program, and there is no session on October 13 in observance of Indigenous Peoples Day.
Cost: $50 per child, includes materials. Space is limited, and registration is required. For more information, including questions about accessibility, contact Susie Spikol.
