This hands-on hour with Harris Center teacher-naturalist Susie Spikol Faber will give you a chance to see the world from the perspective of an ant! Using a variety of lenses – from hand magnifiers to jeweler’s loupes to microscopes and stereoscopes – we’ll get an up-close look at some of nature’s treasures. Take a detailed journey around a leaf, fungus, or feather. Sketch, draw, or write about what you’ve found, and open your eyes and mind to the microcosms in our everyday life. 11 a.m. to noon at the Harrisville Public Library. For more information, contact Susie at (603) 525-3394 or by email.
