Make a difference for our local rivers during the Connecticut River Conservancy’s annual Source to Sea Cleanup! In the Monadnock Region, we’ll focus on Beaver Brook at Water Street in Keene (both Friday and Saturday), Ashuelot River Park in Keene (Friday only), and the Ashuelot River in Keene and Swanzey (Saturday only). 9 to 11 a.m. in Keene (both days), and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Swanzey (Saturday only).

Some of the cleanup can be done on foot, but volunteers are encouraged to bring canoes and PFDs or waders, if possible. Trash bags and gloves will be provided.  For more information or to register, please contact Amanda Littleton at (603) 756-2988, x.116 or by email.

Co-sponsored by the Cheshire County Conservation District, the Ashuelot River Local Advisory Committee, the Harris Center for Conservation Education, the City of Keene, Keene State College, and Moosewood Ecological.
