Last August, a microburst tore through the Monadnock Region, leaving a narrow path of devastation running in a straight line from Keene to Hancock. Join Dave Anderson (Forest Society), Eric Aldrich (Nature Conservancy), and Jeremy Wilson (Harris Center) for an exploration of the disturbance at the McGreal Forest in Hancock, where we’ll learn about the storm’s impact on both woods and wildlife. Meet at 3 p.m. at the Harris Center. Back by 5 p.m. For more information, contact Eric Masterson at (603) 525-3394 or by email.

Cosponsored by the Harris Center, the Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests, and the Nature Conservancy.
